The Mazda MPV minivan is one trick package that continues to influence people who are prepared to spend thousands more. Flexible, smart, versatile and accomplished, Mazda will discontinue the MPV at the end of the 2006 model year.

Available in LX-SV, LX and EX trim levels, the Mazda minivan is powered by a 3.0L DOHC V6 engine with torque communicated to the pavement through a five-speed automatic gearbox with "Slope Control." Another really great feature is that it allows access to the third seat, without folding, flipping or removing the seats.

The third bench seat has a few tricks of its own. It can fold flat like a bed or flip over to be a rear facing seat for tailgating and parade and ball game watching from the back. Or the bench folds down into the floor to create a flat cargo area behind the second row seats without removing it.

Inside the cabin, a low, flat floor makes for easy step in, while close displays and controls are easy to see and operate. Outward visibility is excellent with very comfortable seating throughout the cabin. Cupholders abound with those in the second row seats built into the sliding doors for maximum convenience.
